The cabin were stayed in had 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
I rented a two bedroom 1.5 bath cabin for new years. It cost about $1500 for two nights three days.
It is close to the village I don't know the current prices it has been some time since the last visit
No sorry to late notice. Good luck
Very good food! I recommend the burritos
This place is a MUST!!!! Not only were we greeted at the door by the owner Gaby, but it was an AMAZING meal!!!! The portions were HUGE and we enjoyed everything!!! The avocado salad is delicious!!! The meat dishes were melt in your mouth!!! Gaby takes pride in her meals and you can tell!! We HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone and we will for sure be back!
Great service (including by Gaby herself), and tasty Mexican and Bolivian food! We went in after hitting the slopes in February and enjoyed our unique meals and the ambience.
Food was ok, but nothing super special. The burrito I had could have used some zing.. Some kind of salsa. Meat was tasty, though.
Gaby's is fantastic! Get the avocado salad to start. It is simple and very fresh. The carnitas are the best I have had in a long time. This will be a regular stop of ours when we visit Big Bear from here out. The staff is unbelievable too! This place is not to be missed.
Terrible.... terrible, if I could give this place a zero stars I would, the owner Gaby was rude from the moment she came to our table. Makes sense now why the place was empty... never again! Great pizza down the street, with great customer service and friendly, food was amazing Village Pizza.
Gaby is a wonderful hostess. Very proud of her restaurant, and she should be. The carnitas are to die for, and the Fricasé is out of this world. Can't wait to return.
Super friendly and very good food. Also the cheese dip and the sangria are a must try if eating here. We own a cabin up here and we go here almost every time we are in Big Bear.
The food was what I'd call, good home cooked Bolivian food. I ordered carne asada, which came with tortilla, rice, beans and grilled veggies. It had really good flavor and was filling. The waitress was sweet and checked up on me regularly. They have a small patio seating area outside, with table umbrellas to block the sun, which was nice. My meal, with a soda, was about $15+tip.
On a lark tried Gabbys recently and have returned for more good food. Large portions abound.
Great food, fresh and very well flavored with the unique taste of Bolivian cuisine.
Foods great service even better! Highly suggest
Great tasty food, very friendly service at affordable price.
Very tasty food the owner herself serves the food a variety of Bolivian and mexican food. Highly recommend this place.
The customer service is one of the best I've encountered and the food is so delicious!! I'm looking forward to bringing friends and family here!
Amazing food. All the other restaurants were packed on a Saturday morning. This new place wasn't but it should be. The saltenias were yummy. And Gaby and her husband provided excellent service. Can't wait to go back for lunch and dinner. You have to try it!
This place was amazing. The sangria is a must and the margarita isn’t overly sweet, so it’s really delicious. We got the avocado salad and with the chips (which are also really good), and all of the meals we got were awesome. When we’re back in big bear we’ll absolutely be going back there.
Wonderful food, great service. I would give 10 stars if I could I love this place!
Great service and authentic Mexican food.
Gaby and her staff were very welcoming. They provided excellent customer service. The chips and dip were good. We also enjoyed the margaritas. Next was the food. EXCELLENT! I'm glad Yelp recommended this place.
Excellent food, and the hostess Gaby is very friendly. I tried the Costillas Al Horno which is spicy marinaded pork ribs (see picture), the Picante Mix which had lengua (beef tongue) and chicken, and the Churrasco (see picture). All three were very good, but my personal favorite was the Costillas Al Horno. We also split the avocado salad which had Avocado, onions tomatoes, and jalepeños in a tasty dressing. For dessert we tried the Bolivian Hot chocolate, its very good and the chocolate is imported from Bolivia. But be warned that it takes 20 minutes for her to prepare. The only downside is that both the website and Yelp say it's open on Monday, but it was not when we first tried going.
Fantastic food. All the Bolivian dishes are expertly flavored and presented; if you want to try some unique takes on Mexican foods you're familiar with or are just looking for a low-key restaurant to eat and spend time at, come to Gaby's. It's very much worth it. (Reviewer from Santa Fe)
Took a day-trip to Big Bear Friday. My son asked for ‘Mexican food’. We saw Gaby’s and stopped for lunch. He looked at the menus and ordered ‘enchiladas’, thinking he had , ordered chicken ‘empanadas’. When he saw it he was confused. I explained, and, after smushing together the enchiladas, rice and beans, he enjoyed it. I had a Bolivian chicken dish that came with rice and pasta. I too had a delicious, tasty lunch. We took leftovers home, and had a second wonderful meal. The food took some time to cook- it is not ‘fast food’. It was delicious food. Great find.
The food was delicious, the owner Gaby was gracious and genuine.
Best kept secret in Big Bear. We were greeted cordially by Gaby herself. She bends over backwards to please you. The beer and wine selection is generous with so many great choices and best of all are the delicious and creative food choices made with love. Not much on the ambiance but it's super clean and when you sink your teeth into her amazing food, you won't care what the place looks like.
Really good homemade dishes, with some Bolivian specialties. Enjoyed the chicken fajitas, Pollo Al horno, and Fricase (Bolivian Pozole).
Excellent food, great service.
Not much to look at...BUT DONT'T be fooled! The Hondoran spices are an incredible twist on tradational Mexican food. The prices are very reasonable and being waited on by Gabby herself is enough reason to eat there! Might just be the best food in Big Bear.
New and great at Big Bear
So friendly! So delicious! Gabby, the owner is such a delight and my kids really enjoy not only her friendly personality but her food is a big hit with the kids as well!! Absolutely recommend, anytime.
We came in around lunch time with a party of 17. We were quickly seated and served drinks. The food was amazing, the suggestion for cheese dip did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, great service and amazing food!
Delicious food. Great service and friendly staff. Gaby was super attentive and made us feel like family.
As soon as we entered we were kindly greeted by Gaby the owner. She was extremely nice and made the place feel very homey. She recommended the hot chocolate and it is magnificent! It is highly recommended you will not find anything like it in Big Bear. We bought the Bolivian equivalent to carne asada and that was so good, you can tell she puts a lot of love into making it. The kids inhaled their food and so did we. It is very hard finding a place that serves authentic Latin food, so it was a refreshing experience to eat here with the family.
This is one of the best Mexican/Bolivian food I've ever tasted. The service was good, appetizers were awesome and the food appears to be made with fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. The owner Gaby was very helpful and was gracious in handling the orders. Will definitely recommend it when in Big bear :)
What a pleasant surprise! Gaby puts a deliciously healthy twist on typical Mexican dishes. We're eager to return and sample from the Bolivian menu.
Great Latin Restaurant and the best customer service.
I keep coming back. One of the best restaurants up in Big Bear Lake. The service is extremely friendly, food is fresh and taste amazing.
This was a horrible restaurant. The service was horrible. We were The service was horrible. We kicked out by Gaby herself because we wanted grilled onions on our burger and she couldn’t do that. I’m 14 and have never felt so humiliated.
Owner is very rude and gets mad if you want accomidations. Very rude, and average food for the price. You'll be better off giving your business to Carls Jr across the street.
Do not give Gaby your business, she is an absolutely awful lady. This was the most unwelcoming restaurant I have been to in a long time. They act as if you are privileged to eat at their place. Hopefully you don’t need to ask for any alterations on your order, accommodations or mention they got your order wrong or you will be given a long suffering attitude by the staff and the worst service possible. On top of it all the food wasn’t great.
Great place to try Bolivian food in addition to Mexican food with a twist. Great kids menu as well.Food was delicious, service was attentive and personal. Will definitely keep coming back!
